Airtel Launches Advanced AI Solution for Spam Detection

Users Receive Instant Alerts for Suspicious Calls, Messages, and Harmful Links


Bharti Airtel has launched a cutting-edge AI-driven spam detection system aimed at enhancing customer safety against unwanted communications. This advanced solution alerts users in real-time about potential spam calls and messages by analyzing various patterns in caller behavior, message frequency, and other key metrics.

What sets Airtel’s service apart is its automatic activation for all customers, eliminating the need for any manual setup or app installations. The system can process an astounding 1.5 billion messages and 2.5 billion calls each day, successfully identifying approximately 100 million spam calls and 3 million spam messages daily.

This initiative supports the recent guidance from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), which encourages telecom companies to implement AI technologies to better tackle spam. By utilizing a sophisticated algorithm, Airtel’s solution significantly boosts user protection, allowing individuals to focus on essential communications without the distraction of unsolicited messages.
